The first 10 minutes of his briefing covers the US Government’s UFO search program. Mohler’s commentary is primarily about belief and its relation to science which was demonstrated by his criticism of a secular scientist’s statements mentioned in the briefing. Mohler’s commentary, while good, remained safe and within the box of common Christian commentary. At the end of the briefing he repeats the question asked in the New York Times: “Is this all there is?”, then Mohler affirms the inevitability of the question and succinctly closes the topic.

This isn’t a criticism of Mohler, but we bring this up to point out an opportunity to go deeper into the subject, which is something Gospel Vision aims to do.
