In this article on The Gospel Coalition, Darren Carlson presents us with several testimonies of former Muslims who had dreams or visions that played a role in their conversion to Christianity. Western naturalistic culture has been more dismissive of such experiences, but the Middle East is more willing to accept the revelatory nature of some dreams given cultural precedents that affirm them. The frequency is high enough that it has led some to lazily wait around for a dream to occur instead of reading the Bible. Carlson is careful in his report to affirm the role that dreams are playing in evangelism in the Middle East as well as how Satan attempts to muddy the waters and add confusion. He exhorts his readers not to dismiss the supernatural occurrences, but to be discerning.

God is eager to meet anyone where they are and in the case of the Middle East, He overcomes Muslim hostilities using their own cultural precedents. The testimonies are a true delight to read.
